We at the Triambigram Arts have been making award-winning documentary films and short fictions and our claim to fame very much lies conceptualizing, scripting, directing and producing creative documentaries and fiction films. We've exclusively work for the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, Doordarshan Prasar Bharti, Public Service Broadcasting Truat, reputed charitable organizations like New Light, Studio Earthcrafts and many more. We have also woked for International Productions like Show of Force, PBS USA, Native Voices London.

THE WOMAN... AND THE MAN

The highly acclaimed and multiple award winning short film "The Woman and the Man" under the banner of Triambigram Arts, written, produced and directed by Sarmistha Maiti and Rajdeep Paul. The film has traveled to several festivals and won multiple awards including 3^rd Best Short Film and Best Screenplay Award at 1^st Bengal International Short Film Festival 2016, 11^th Seattle South Asian Film Festival 2016, USA; FOG movie Fest 2016 - Festival of Globe, Silicon Valley, USA; 6^th Pune Short Film Festival 2016, 1^st Bengal International Short Film Festival 2016, Kolkata; All Lights India International Film Festival, Hyderabad, 2016, 3^rd Goa Short film Festival 2016. "The Woman... and The Man" is a short film which addresses the peculiarities of the male gaze and how it leads to the objectification of the female identity. The film takes a nuanced look into the growing infatuation of a young milkman from the lower strata of the society towards a stunningly sensuous and free spirited woman whom he sees in the balcony of a big house while delivering milk pouches every morning. As the woman becomes the exotic element of his sexual fantasies he starts belittling his own plain-Jane wife, until a cruel twist of fate challenges the man to question the way he looks at women and his very notion of beauty.
